PTO Committees: who does what - and how to lend a hand.

Community Safety Council is the liaison between the UDHS PTO and the Upper Dublin Safety Council. It reports back on issues several times a year.

eNews keeps the PTO website updated with news throughout the year.

Hospitality plans and manages the Teacher Appreciation Day brunch, as well as providing snacks to students throughout the year. Helping hands and contributions are welcome.

Liaison committee chairs work directly with the teacher advisors for each grade to support grade level activities. 

Membership is responsible for coordinating PTO membership for all grades. It sends out flyers on the benefits of PTO membership; collects dues; organizes, verifies and proofs all the contact information it gets; and manages distribution of the directory.

Nominating works with the PTO Board to recruit interested volunteers to head up committees for the following year.

Post Prom runs the show for this safe, supervised, drug-free & alcohol-free blow-out that follows the Senior Prom. Many, many volunteers are needed for everything from selling chances to organizing and manning food tables, buying prizes and planning events, chaperoning…and more.

Publicity works with local media to keep our school, students, staff and events in the news.

Special Projects handles the Community Study Program, the College Forum and others that may come up during the year.

Sportswear orders and sells the tee-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and other apparel that kids, parents and staff wear to show Cardinal spirit.

Sunshine reaches out to school staff during the year with best wishes and condolences during life events.

Volunteers sends out the PTO volunteer form that comes home in September with back-to-school papers, organizes lists of volunteers, and updates committees with the contact information.

Website planned, designed and provides the behind-the-scenes tech know-how for our PTO website and updates it throughout the year.
