How to Get Information/Stay Informed:
Not yet registered as part of the District LISTSERVE? Parents can sign up by going to www.udsd.org, go to District Information, then eNotify/LISTSERVE
- the directions to enroll are at the bottom of that page. You can
specify that messages be delivered as a text message to your phone
(Note: applicable fees will apply from your cell phone company), an
email, or both.
The best way to contact teachers is through the school district email system. Email addresses are created by using the first letter of the first name and the first seven letters of the last name followed by udsd.org. For example: crittenh@udsd.org (Charles Rittenhouse).
IMPORTANT! The school district has a new system to filter out spam and junk email - the I.C.E. Box, which uses a Sender Address Verification System. The first time you send a message to a teacher, you will receive a reply email with the teacher's first name initial and last seven characters of the last name, followed by verify and a long alphanumeric-string. If you do not reply to the I.C.E Box, your message will not be delivered to the user's inbox. You will need to do this each time you email someone in the district for the first time.
