The Post Prom is a 25+ year tradition in Upper Dublin. It is an event that is held in order to keep our kids safe on Prom night. It is a no charge, drug and alcohol-free, party for all UD Seniors, regardless of whether they go to the Prom. Their Prom dates are also invited.
We provide bus transportation from/to the high school to the event.
It runs from approximately midnight to 5:30 am, following the Senior Prom in May and is held at the Philadelphia Sports Club in Chalfont.
We have access to their gyms, racquetball courts, party rooms, game rooms, laser tag and we bring in all kinds of external entertainers
ENTERTAINMENT includes things like inflatable obstacle courses and bucking broncos, photo booth, basketball, wallyball, fortune tellers, hypnotists, henna tattoo artists, casino room, laser tag, dodge ball, board games, wii games, and much more.
FOOD AND DRINKS ARE PROVIDED. Things like pizza, hoagies, pretzels, veggies and dip, fruit, chicken fingers, cookies, brownies, coffee, water, lemonade, etc.
AWESOME PRIZE ROOM! TVs, headphones, Keurig coffee makers, college bedding, bags, Apple tv, and many more Grand Prizes.
All attendees leave with a prize–either one of the Grand Prizes or a Senior gift (like a beach towel). Guests receive a small token gift for attending.
The event is organized and staffed by parent volunteers.
While it’s free to our Seniors, it’s not free to run. It is a collaborative financial effort between UD parents, the school district, the community and local businesses and organizations.
